Adobe New Account Usage
Purpose This article has been created to provide information on how to switch to your new CBU account with Adobe. What happened? California Baptist University (CBU) recently transitioned to a new licensing model to reduce costs. This required the recreation of all Adobe Accounts within a new tenant, with licensing now managed through the new accounts. Previously, accounts were equally divided between Adobe ID accounts and Federated IDs. Access to these accounts will follow two distinct processes, which are outlined below. The former accounts are labeled "California Baptist University," while the new ones are designated as "AICCU - California Baptist University," as illustrated in the accompanying image. What do I need to do? To continue using Adobe Applications, you will need to sign out of your existing account and sign in using the new account. The details will be outlined below. Be aware that all data stored on the Adobe Cloud will need to be downloaded and stored in another location (OneDrive, Box, the local computer drive, or a flash/external drive). For instructions on how to do this, please see this article: https://calbaptist.freshservice.com/support/solutions/articles/21004262803 Switching to my new account You will need to sign out and sign in on the applications that you use. To do this open Adobe Creative Cloud. Click your profile picture and click sign out. Then you can sign back in using your CBU username (this would be the 8 or less character name) and password which should bring you to this screen: Click the account for "AICCU - California Baptist University". Now the Adobe products should be licensed using the new account.
