Access Library Resources
To access the Library Resources, please use the student ID number only and the password from InsideCBU.
If you continue to experience issues, please try some of the following troubleshooting tips (The highlighted items are the most common problems):
Are you using your student ID number ONLY (no need to add @calbaptist.edu) as the username and Lancermail/Inside CBU/Blackboard password?
If you are faculty or staff, use the first part of your email as their username (ex: llancer)
There is a character limit for usernames. EZproxy (the library system) only allows 8 characters for a username. Faculty/Staff logins might be abbreviated. (ex: mmcclusk instead of mmccluskey)
What does the login screen look like? Is it the proxy login? (Sometimes students are trying to log into MyEBSCO or some other database specific account).
The proxy login looks like this:
Are you a current student? Alumni are only able to access our databases for 1 year after graduation.
Are you trying to access our content through Blackboard? If so, try to access the content from the library website.
Try to log in to InsideCBU in incognito mode to verify that your password is correct. Instructions for
Chrome and
Edge on opening an Incognito or InPrivate window.
Are their cookies enabled? (EZproxy only works if they are enabled)
Try clearing cache and cookies in browser settings (close out of the browser completely and reopen it in order to put changes into effect). This typically resolves EBSCO database loading issues.
Logging in through our proxy is required for all databases on our site...and our proxy pulls from your Standard CBU Account using Single Sign-On.
