Overview:

This article overviews how to pair a Blackboard course to a McGraw-Hill section and adding new content to the course.

Pairing a Course:

1.  Navigate to the the Blackboard course you want to pair to McGraw-Hill.

2. Go to the content area and hit "McGraw Hill Connect LTIA" under the "Build Content" drop-down. 

3. Hit "Select Connect" from as the Platform

4. Hit "Begin"

 

5. Select "Pair with a Connect Section" to pair with a section that has already been created in McGraw-Hill. For further assistance creating a section in McGraw-Hill, please refer to the following resource: Connect Create and Add Your Course and Sections or contact McGraw-Hill support. 

6. Hit "Select" on the section you would like to pair your Blackboard course to.

7. Once your course has been successfully paired, you will receive a message:

8. Return back to your Blackboard course. 

Deploying McGraw-Hill Assignments to Blackboard:

1. Navigate to your course and content area where you want to add an assignment.

2. Select "McGraw Hill Connect LTIA" from the "Build Content" drop-down:

3. Select "Go to my Connect Section"

4. Under the "Assignments" tab, select the assignment(s) you want to deploy:

5. Click the paper stack and select "Deploy/manage"

6. Verify the Grade Type and hit "Deploy"

7. The assignment should now be in the selected content area in the Blackboard Learn course.
