Installing the VPN Software Cisco AnyConnect
You must have the Cisco VPN software to connect to the CBU network which has access to department drives and some web applications. To install the software, follow these steps:
- Open an internet browser and navigate to

https://vpn.calbaptist.edu (Make sure to include the ‘https://’ in the address bar)
- Set the group to: CBU-SSLVPN
- Sign in with your credentials

- Download and Install the Any Connect Client
- For installation steps if needed, click the “ + Instructions “ option to see a list of steps provided by Cisco on installing the software.

Using the VPN Software
Once the software is installed, make sure it’s configured correctly. Once it’s configured, it should keep the same settings each time they use the software. Follow these steps:
- Open Cisco AnyConnect (the VPN software)
- In the address field, type in “vpn.calbaptist.edu” and click “Connect”.

- Set the group to: CBU-SSLVPN
- Sign in with your InsideCBU login credentials.

- The VPN service is now connected. You can now access company resources and files on the CBU network.

- Once you are connected to the VPN and you do not see your Shared or Mapped Drives, then click this link for instructions on Mapping Shared Drives.
